The Den - Stanthorpe

This converted barn at The Summit sits on a working farm about a kilometre off the New England Highway, where cattle and sheep wander the property. The cottage is set behind the main house with its own entrance, though you'll share carport parking with your hosts and might see or hear other guests staying in the two nearby cottages. Inside, the layout puts a generous living space with kitchenette, pool table and bar area at one end, while the bedroom and full bathroom occupy the other.

The Summit is a quiet spot on the Granite Belt, a short drive north of Stanthorpe, with mountain and valley views stretching across the border country. You're close enough to explore wineries, national parks and produce farms, all within about forty minutes. The space works well for a couple after somewhere comfortable and low-key, with room to spread out over a game of pool or just settle in for the evening.
